katie phelan is an indie folk-pop artist from Co. Meath, who creates honest, heart-warming and inspired songs of self-expression. Katie’s signature sound is one of cosy soundscapes, delicate vocals, warm acoustic guitar tones and an impressive narrative songwriting style.

Since her debut release in 2021, Katie has featured as the face of Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds: UK and Ireland’ playlist and played an array of live shows including; Other Voices, The Great Escape and more. In 2023, Katie had the unique opportunity to represent Ireland as an artist on the Keychange programme and perform at Breakout West Canada. 2024 then saw Katie refine her craft on stages across Europe such as Primavera Pro, Palermo Festival, Freefield Milan and more.

katie phelan will begin the release of her debut EP 'Blues and Greens' in April 2025 via London based label sevenfoursevensix (Matilda Mann, Matt Maltese). The EP was written by Katie and recorded and produced alongside Pete Robertson (beabadoobee, Orla Gartland, The Vaccines), it centres around moving away from the sea and navigating change. Alongside her debut EP, 2025 will see Katie take to stages such as Night and Day festival, Another Love Story, both of which are nominated for IMRO Small Music Festival of the year, and more.
