KAZMS is the work of BIMM graduates Eoin Keely, electronic producer/songwriter Ciaran Byrne and trad musician Sean O’ Casaide.
The band played The Whelan's Ones To Watch festival 2019 and 2020 where Hotpress reported that if their sound was "the future of indie music", they were "very excited”.
Having been chosen as the best of Today FM's five hotly tipped acts, KAZMS secured a support slot for Gavin James in Dublin's 3 Arena on the 29th of February, 2020.
Their songs have been played on 98 FM, Today FM, FM 104, Dublin City FM and Newstalk.
KAZMS were awarded a MISP grant in January 2020. This enabled the band to write and record the final tracks for their debut album FLOW. The concept album is a progression from the ancient tradition of Sean Not singing to an indie electronic landscape. This symbolises the evolution of Irish culture from its Celtic roots to its modern, metropolitan, plugged-in cities.
