Fueled by a burning desire to create, kleio are the latest offerings from the rich musical lands of Ireland as they look set to carve their own piece of musical history. With anthemic hooks & infectious rythm kleio have mastered the art of creating fresh yet somehow familiar Indie Rock Songs that harken back to the golden era of the Genre in the 2000’s & 2010’s. This sound has led them to capture audiences across both Ireland and Britain.
Making their mark across the Irish Sea, the Irish quartet made their British debut supporting Irish indie heroes Barstaff on their UK tour in Manchester, on top of supporting Post-Party on their Irish tour in Limerick. The band has also started to turn the heads of the press, most notably from Earmilk who dubbed the band’s sonic boldness as “booming with a vibrant power that boasts an early 2000’s anthemic sound”.
Following the release of hit single ‘the avenue’ October 2024, kleio performed to a sold out Whelan’s crowd in Irelands Capital City, Dublin which was the perfect ending to a year that saw the band go from strength to strength.
Kleio Reached over 100k streams in 2024 alone and this number is growing steadily. Singles ‘the avenue‘ & ‘mercury’ were met by both public & critical acclaim, with the former recieving national airtime on RTE 2fm and the latter has been featured on Spotify Editorial Playlists ‘A breath of Fresh Éire’ & ‘Alternative Ireland’ as well an appearance on the popular UK television show Made in Chelsea
Kleio start 2025 supporting Geordie Indie Rockers The Pale White on their Big Sad Tour of Ireland, before their first Hometown headliner in over a year in April.
