Kyro Jones

Kyro Jones are a heavy rock quintet from Dublin. Fully exposed and completely honest, their tales of introspection performed alongside crushing riffs have birthed their unique sound. inhabiting a punk-rock sound involving a whirlwind of hard-hitting guitar riffs and melodies.

The band's influences travel from different eras of sounds, from the raw energy of the early punk scene up to the heavy sounds of the 90's alternative scene. The band has developed their stagecraft by performing up and down the country, in many venues, such as Whelans, Workmans & The Grand Social.

The band's self-produced singles 'What a Shame' & ‘Walk with Me’ have been featured on Dan Hegarty's 'The Alternative' & Roddie Cleere's 'The Irish Music Podcast' and received critical acclaim from RGM Magazine, Indie Buddie, Demars Magazine and earned Ex Oh Promotion’s ‘Track of the Week’. ’.

The band is going from strength to strength having been featured in DeMars Magazine's honorable mentions of "We Want Live Music!". The five-piece continues to create and work tirelessly despite all challenges posed by the pandemic. Once again they have sat down to record, this time gearing up for a release in 2021.
