Little Kings is based in the North West of Ireland and led by Hong Kong born and raised Ryan Harling. For the upcoming single and EP, he has banded together with Aoife Mullan and Leah Bell to share songs themed on the turbulent years of 2020-’22. Stepping away from the old maximalist approach to writing (the debut EP featured 17 musicians), there's an intimacy to the latest recording through the trio’s close-knit sound, made possible through the group gaining the support of Help Musicians’ “Record and Release” fund.

In the colourful tapestry weaved by this sonically adventurous alt-folk group, you'll find strands of Bon Iver, The National, and The Waterboys. Expect lush arrangements, a captivating delivery, and powerful lyrics with a sound beyond their years. The single will be released on the 12th of August, 2023, and their EP on the 7th of October.
