Lucky Bones Press Release 2015

Lucky Bones aka Eamonn O’Connor is a definitive member of the storytelling breed of songwriters. A
troubadour who has for more than ten years been tirelessly touring across Europe and the USA in
between releasing two records (“Together We Are All Alone” 2011 and “Someone’s Son 2013”) just
released a brand new EP “Blessed” at the beginning of 2015

The Wicklow based performers third release comes after his first two critically acclaimed albums.
“Together We Are All Alone” 2011 (“One of the first great albums of 2011” AMERICANA UK) and
“Someone’s Son” 2013(“Capable of summoning epic widescreen effects” UNCUT 2013, RTE Radio 1
ALBUM OF THE WEEK, May 2013)

After a frustrating spell with Warner Records, London ending in parting ways with the label Eamonn wasted little time before picking himself up and starting over. A self released EP “Yellow Man Street” in 2007
“Genuine spine tingling moments”-HOT PRESS gathered the momentum that set him off on a two year tour around Europe and eventually across the water to the USA. A chance meeting with American producer Stephen Ceresia while playing at Kansas City Music Festival in 2009 would see the pair recording both the forthcoming albums together outside Austin, Texas and ultimately the birth of Lucky Bones.

Eamonn has shared stages with a host of home-grown and international talent while touring. Including
John Grant, Evan Dando, Semisonic, Lisa Stansfield , Marty Stuart, Glen Hansard, Aslan and Mundy as well as a host of others.

His sound has met with critical acclaim both at home and abroad. With comparisons made to Ryan
Adams, Bruce Springsteen, Townes Van Zandt and Tom Waits it is surely only a matter of time before
his music reaches a much wider audience.
