Magnerism

Originally from Mallow, Co.Cork, Magnerism is a solo Indie pop artist. His lyrics and
musical style are inspired by groups such as White lies, The Smiths, Interpol and The
1975
He composes the beats and melodies using a Digital Piano on Logic Pro. His songs
contain a range of instruments from synthesisers to guitars and trumpets. He records
the vocals in M5 studio in Cork City.

Although the music is generally upbeat the lyrics often carry dark themes. This
contrast provides a refreshing taste of real life in a world obsessed with perfection.

Although the specific meaning of the lyrics are open to interpretation, the full spectrum
of human emotion is explored in his songs, from disappointment to melancholy, and from
anger to optimism.
