Mark Blair

Mark Blair, former songwriter with local rock-blues sensations, The Red Velvetines, returns with his own brand of music. Proudly hailing from the North Coast of Northern Ireland, Mark has branched out on his own to share his songs about beauty, anger and redemption.

Mark reaches out into many genres to restrict the constraints of pigeon-holing and allow him to produce the sound most suited to the song. His genre-bending music mostly covers Blues, Rock n’ Roll, Folk, Acoustic but occasionally delves into Electronica.

Having already played with some of the best musicians around - including Foy Vance, Electric Six's Dick Valentine & Pat McManus; as well as regional up & comers The Bonnevilles, The Wood Burning Savages, The Hardchargers, Swanee River, A Plastic Rose & The Screaming Eagles - Mark has established himself as an artist to watch both locally and on the wider stage.
