Mark Leen is a Singer/Songwriter from Tralee, he has released three Studio Albums of original work,
Prodigal Son 2008 , Chameleon 2012 and Summer Party 2018, he has released a Christmas Single in 2013 titled "Fly Home For Christmas" which is an enticing Big Band Arrangement which was recorded in late 2012. The track was voted best Christmas song on Christmas FM Radio out o FB over 100 entrants.
Mark Leen is a fully trained Actor, Academy of Live and Recorded Arts London 1995 through 1998,
He was best known for his Multi Award winning Elvis Tribute Show under the name Emerald Elvis, which he toured extensively performing the songs of Elvis, to far flung places including USA, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, Europe, the UK, and Ireland.
He was the only Elvis Tribute employed by Elvis Presley's Own Record Label RCA/Victor -BMG Group to represent the impact and significance of Presley's recordings during a promotional Campaign of A Little Less Conversation, No 1 Worldwide 2002.
Mark has featured on BBC Television's The World's Greatest Elvis, and on The Weakest Link Celebrity Edition.
Mark has hosted his own Radio Show on the life of Elvis on Radio Kerry, and is a regular contributor to his local station.
Mark has featured on the RTE Radio 1 show Joe Duffy - Funny Friday since 2010 to 2013 and he has featured in the Award winning Docs on One Series in a Show titled "From a Jack to a King"
He has written four books, VIva Lost Wages - Freedom from Problem Gambling, Curtin Call - The Official biography on the life of DJ Curtin. The Soul Speaks, and a children’s book titled The Postman and Doggie Woggie.
His track The Night I Met You featured in the NBC hit tv show The Blacklist and he wrote The Old East End Tonight which featured twice in the film Rise of the Foot soldier 3. That track was re mixed by a number of DJ’s including Dope Ammo and was recorded by Award winning crooner gary Driscoll. Mark has written another track for Gary titled -Brown Bread Fred.
