Martin Connon

Martin Connon is a singer-songwriter based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is a self-taught and self-styled guitarist, having first picked up the instrument in his late teens. Martin has constructed a musical persona that is both highly commercially appealing in its humanity and relatability, and deeply personal in its intrinsic introversion. His sound blends guitar pieces with mature vocals etched with feeling and experience; his songs are stories of times past and present, stories that can be shared and empathised with. Martin's songwriting is distinctive in its ability to be anthemic yet containing undeniable elements of self-examination and introspection.

His recent single, Over (Live), is out now on all digital platforms, and was showcased in a live session on the BBC Arts Show on 13 Dec 2018. It will be followed by his next single, Pictures of You (Live), due for release on 1 Feb 2019.
