Mikey O Malley

Mikey O Malley is a singer-songwriter from Ireland. His music is a unique style of Irish/ Hawaiian folk with original and personal lyrics. He sings, plays the ukulele, guitar and piano and accompanies himself with percussion. He takes inspiration from artists like Ed Sheeran, Dermot Kennedy and Lewis Capaldi as he also aspires to express experiences and emotions through music. He is from Ratoath, Co. Meath and was a busker and small venue performer. He then moved to Seattle Washington where he joined the open-mic circuit. He plays regularly in pubs, bars and small venues in the Cleveland area. He also plays at various university and college events in America. His most notable performance has been at Wild Fest 2019, where he featured as an opening act for Hobo Johnson and the Lovemakers. Tom Stockdale (YouTube personality with 347k subscribers) had this to say about his music, "I love the delivery! I’m a big fan of telling a story in a song. You’ve got a new fan in me my friend!" His most recent releases were featured in Cleveland Scene Magazine and received positive reviews. His most recent single, "For This I Pray" received radio play on Classic Hits FM and his debut EP, "Wildflower," is due to release this summer.
