Milk Rain

Milk Rain is a dairy-based rock-band found mostly in Dublin, Ireland. Formed around the talents and chutzpah of songwriter Lisa Milk Murnane, Thomas Earls (guitar, also of Softdrink Millionaire, TERD), Maeve Costello (bass, also TERD), and Conor O’Boyle (drums, producer and general scene gremlin). Melding punk and garage rock vibes, this group asks the question: What if surf rock carried the crushing weight of adult responsibility?
Intricately lyrical and personal songs are woven together with playfully distorted guitar, an effervescent, bouncing bass line, and an arse-slap of a rhythm section.
Inherently DIY in their approach, and mischievous in their taste, Milk Rain have remained a largely mysterious presence, despite selling out their debut headline show in Dublin’s beloved Anseo in October 2024.
