THE BAND
After a number of additions, line-up changes and cover gigs, eventually leading to the current line-up, the lads began working on originals. Following a number of gigs in Clondalkin the band refocused their efforts on Dublin city centre, and have already played venues such as The Mezz, Fibbers, The Grand Social alongside some of better known Irish bands.
THE MUSIC
Lads created their own brand of Rock'n'Roll that bridges the gap between metal and hard rock. To their audience they present a mixture of ferocious riffs, soaring vocals and unforgettable choruses that captures the best of all their influences. Mitzi Turbo's music appeals not only to young people who search the Irish music scene for substitute for Down or Queens of the Stone Age, but also to older audience, who misses the sound of Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin.
THE MISSION
Mitzi Turbo lads describe themselves as "five mates that play loads of music together". They want to save a piece of reality on the current music scene and put all their efforts into making real, good and most importantly honest music without the unnecessary and meaningless packaging. The mission of Mitzi Turbo is very simple: keep goin' and enjoy it, keep shoutin' till someone listens.
WHAT PEOPLE SAID ...
“...A strong, memorable, and unquestionably solid live act, Clondalkin five-piece Mitzi Turbo present to their audience a thrilling mixture of ferocious riffs and soaring vocals. But it’s their ability to write a cracking chorus that really stands out. These guys may wear their influences on their sleeves, but it's what they do with them that makes all the difference...”
“...Mitzi Turbo fuse the best of Blues, Metal, Grunge and Hard-Rock into one and play uncompromised rock n roll the way it should be played...”
“...Bridging the gap between metal and hard rock...”
