Mórda

Growing up in Tallaght under the tutelage of indie bands like Leaders of Men, Bipolar Empire and The Cades. Mórda (Dan Murphy) has been pursuing a sound unique in its own over the course of a decade. Feeling like it’s coming good now, Mórda has been building on sounds inspired by the local bands of Tallaght mixed with outside influences such as The War on Drugs, King Krule and early Kings of Leon.
Along with his 5 piece band, Mórda has been creating a buzz around Dublin with four singles over the last two years and an EP to come in 2025, as well as a string of sold out shows in Whelans and the Workmans Cellar.

Expectations are high for the release of his debut EP in the coming months as they’re moving from home recordings to studio with a slight change up of sound but still on the old school Indie Power Pop buzz xx
