Mory is a hip-hop artist based in Dublin. One fourth of the group 'Róg Poets' and a founding member of record label 'Róg Records' the rapper/producer has been writing and recording music since 2005.
Known for fusing hip hop and Irish traditional music Mory is also the first hip hop artist from Dublin to rap in the Irish language.
A massive fan of world music Mory takes influence from all over the world and fuses many genres and cultures into his work to create a truly unique sound.
His lyrics are inspired by topics such politics, history, love, humour, nature, people power, Irish culture, Celtic heritage and the Gaelic revival, the joys and frustrations of being a youth growing up in modern Ireland are well documented through his music.
With Róg Poets he has a string of successful gigs under his belt playing headline shows at some of Dublin's top venues such as Wigwam, Grand Social, The Bernard Shaw, Workmans, The Sound House, The Lighthouse and many others.
With most of his former releases being with Róg Poets or his collaborations with 'Chilli Flake' the bulk of Mory's music is yet to come with some very exciting releases planned before the end of 2021 including collaborations with members of Afro Celt Sound System and many other big names in world music/Irish hip hop industries.
He also featured as one of the main speakers and performers on the RTÉ television production 'My Tribe/Mo Thréib' an Irish language tv show that documented musical sub cultures of Ireland in early 2021.
