Dublin-based indie rock band MothMom has been making their mark on the Irish music scene with a distinct sound that blends raw emotion and dynamic instrumentation. Since releasing their debut album How to Cut Your Losses in 2021—an exploration of growing up, queerness, and everything in between—they've built a strong reputation through relentless gigging and collaborations with artists like Dafe Orugbo (Filmore!) and doubting.
They’ve played major festivals like Electric Picnic, headlined and supported shows in venues such as The Grand Social, Workman’s, and The Sound House, and performed as part of Fringe Festival, Indigo Sessions, and Why Not? Indie Club. Their ability to deliver powerful live performances has made them a staple of Ireland’s indie scene.
With a new EP set for release in spring 2025, MothMom continues to push forward, expanding their sound and audience while staying true to the DIY ethos that got them here- ready to make you feel everything all at once.
