Mulljoy

Mulljoy are Shane Mullin & Simon Kingston, two Dublin based DJ’s, whose common love for melody driven electronic music saw them become regulars on the Dublin dance music circuit in 2011. This in turn helped them to secure a monthly residency at OurHouse in Dublin's POD where they played their diverse collection of music spanning genres from deep house through to techno.

In the period since, Mulljoy have played in clubs across Ireland and also made their Berlin (Mo Nacht Cafe) & London (Ginglik) debuts with very well received sets. 2012 also saw Mulljoy make their Festival debut with a headline slot with Dan Guerin in the Guilty Boy Association Dome at the Knockanstockan Festival outside Dublin. 2013 is certainly shaping up be a busy one with their ongoing residency at Melodic Dublin, gigs scheduled at a number of other Dublin clubs aswell as Cork, Limerick, London, Berlin, Barcelona & Ibiza aswell as the release of their 1st productions!!

Mulljoy have also found the time to set up their own night, Melodic, which kicked off on December 23rd 2011 with a successful launch at The Lost Society Bassment, South William Street, Dublin 2. The night aims to push the more melody driven styles of dance music that the guys are best known for playing. At the heart of Melodic is a desire to create a positive & vibrant atmosphere that encourages people to mingle and to discover new music and genres.

The venue is well renowned as one of Dublin’s most loved underground clubs and has seen many of dance music's greats take to the DJ box. To date Melodic has hosted Edu Imbernon, Tim Green, Los Suruba, Dosem, Negru, Coyu, Rainer Weichhold & Gavin Herlihy. 2013 is shaping up to be a strong year for Melodic also with confirmed bookings of Ripperton, Andrea Oliva, Aril Brikha, Los Suruba & Edu Imbernon gracing Lost Society's Basement!

Mulljoy will continue as residents and will be joined by International guests and the best in Irish talent in providing their guests with of quality, melody driven styles of electronic music that you will remember.

Melodic’s Music policy will follow the muisc that has inspired Mulljoy and that you will have heard them play out over the last year so you can expect to hear the likes of:
