Melt into dark, intense, hypnotic, seductive, psychedelic guitar noise...
neurophone was born in 1998 with Niall O'Riordan, Gareth Williams, Tony Byrne, and Beuno. Gigging around Dublin throughout 1998 and 1999. The band recorded their self-produced, debut album 'Hate, Love, Desire and Dreams' in 1999/2000. The band went on a break and started seeing other musicians following the completion of the album in 2000. Niall, Beuno and Tony went to gig prolifically with The Long Knives, PAMF and Blackpitts respectively.
In February 2018 the band decided to surf the wave of noise again and begin the road to launching their long-lost album on the 20th anniversary of it's completion. Summer 2018 will see the launch of the 'Beauty Twisted' EP.
The 2018 line-up included Niall - vocal and guitar; Beuno - bass; Kieran O'Leary - drums and Martin Casey - guitar.
We are currently working on demos for our second album. One year into our getting back together, we're looking forward to recording and gigging with Gareth again this summer.
