Niall Teague is a singer - songwriter from Belfast based in Galway while Padraic Joyce is a Galway singer and songwriter. Niall and Padraic write in a folk style blended with Americana country and blues and have proven to be a growing talent in the Irish music scene. . Much of their new material is based on Irish events, people and places with a connection's to local community, environment and a wider Irish audience. They have written and recorded albums including, Witness by Moonlight (2009), Niall Teague and The Fast Company (2010), Big Red Bridge (2018) and Taobh le Taobh (2020). Taobh le Taobh was an Irish language collaboration with long time collaborator Padraic Joyce. They enjoyed success with their track 'Ar Saoire' at the 2017 Panceltic national and International song contests. In 2019 Niall and Padraic were the winners of the Christmas FM song contest. In 2021 Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce recorded and released their single 'West for Christmas' reaching 19 in the Irish download charts. Other highlights of 2021 included winning the Oireachtas na Gaeilge’s inaugural songwriting contest. In September 2021 Niall was invited to collaborate as a producer and arranger for the track 'Christmas in Dublin' with creative writer Deirdre Devally MA. Christmas in Dublin received National airplay and reached number 2 in the Irish Download charts. In December 2021 they were invited to join the cream of Galway's musical talent for a special recording of 'Booley Sessions' at the Black Gate arts centre Galway. In May of 2022 Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce became finalists in the song for Monaghan contest with their track 'Monaghan'. Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce's latest album is due to be released later in 2023 and promises to feature some of their best songwriting yet. Niall has performed with the Sharon Shannon band and shared the stage with Mundy, Shane Mc Gowan, Eleanor Shanley, Damian Dempsey and Declan O'Rourke. Niall Teague graduated with a first class honors degree in Songwriting from UL in spring 2022. Padraic Joyce is a producer and lead guitarist with the Tracey Bruen band, as featured on the RTE recommends list 2020. In September 2022 Niall Was granted an Agility award from the arts council .
