An enigmatic act, who leaves the talking to the music; Omo Aston is a singer, songwriter and musician of Nigerian descent, from Louth, Ireland. Aston announced himself on the scene in the Summer of 2018 with his debut single Harmony from his debut project Aston Quay which has amassed over 5000 streams organically without any playlist spots or major press.
Still perfecting his craft, Omo Aston spent the early months of 2019 in collaboration with artists from far and wide. Most notably the Northern Ireland wordsmith - Leo Miyagee with whom he linked up with on the track Motion Sick. The Summer of 2019 saw Aston's most championed song yet; Man On! from the EP Sooner Than You Think...
From radio spins on the acclaimed 98FM and SPIN1038 stations, to endorsements from popular Irish urban magazines such as District Magazine Frosted and Nialler9, Aston has had his fair share of plaudits despite still being a novice in the game.
His sound can be related back to artists like; Frank Ocean, Saba, Brent Faiyaz, Masego and Kendrick Lamar. Although predominantly labelled as an R&B artist, Aston doesn't like to be confined within a box. Soul, jazz, hip-hop and afrobeat also contribute to his ever-evolving sound.
His goal is to one day reach and positively influence millions around the world with his music.
