Dublin based, Pop/ R&B artist ORLA is an exciting new addition to Ireland’s music scene. ORLA channels her emotions into her vocal delivery and embellishes her music with textured harmonies, vocal runs and layers. The result is a dreamy vocal line telling her stories over a powerful pop-driven beat.
Following the success of her debut single ‘Close to me’, ORLA released ‘Lazy’ in 2021 which landed a spot on Spotify editorial playlists such as ‘New Music Friday UK’ and ‘R&B Fresh Finds’ and has so far gained over 30,000 streams.
2022 has already been a busy year for ORLA. Starting off the year supporting Irish band Royseven to a packed main stage Whelan's, she then released her newest single ‘Carry Myself’ at the end of March. Since its release 'Carry Myself' has gained positive feedback across both radio and media. ORLA has had her music played across multiple radio stations including BBC Radio 1Extra, BBC ATL introducing, Classic Hits 4fm, WLRfm, BEAT FM, Midlands 103, KFM, Blast 106, LMFM, and Dundalk FM.
ORLA has been establishing her among Irish audiences while playing support slots in multiple venues across Dublin including Whelans, the Workmans Club, The Sugar Club, and most recently supporting Isaac Butler at his MCD headline show at the Grand Social. She is currently preparing her debut EP with regular collaborator Alex O’Keeffe (Bobbi Arlo, Erica Cody) which will be released in early 2023, with the first single coming out this September.
