Our Butterfly Effect

Our Butterfly Effect are a Galway-based folk-rock duo consisting of multi-instrumentalists and singer-songwriters Jenny Gallagher and Páraic Naughton.
Hailing from diverse musical backgrounds, they have seamlessly woven their talents together, resulting in a symphony of sound that resonates deeply with listeners.

Inspired by life's intricacies and personal experiences, Our Butterfly Effect are currently refining and recording a collection of about 20 beautiful, melodic songs, which convey raw vulnerability and evoke deep emotions, for their highly anticipated debut album. Their first single, Will You Be Free, a song about accepting who you are and what life throws at you, was released in May 2022 in support of Ukrainian refugees in their community.

Our Butterfly Effect is known for their magnetic stage presence and genuine connection with their audience. With gigs to date including the Ar Imeall Festival in Galway, the White Horse Sessions in Lahinch, the Róisín Dubh, and regular appearances in Campbell’s Tavern, their live performances are a sensory experience, drawing fans into a world of introspection. With every strum of the guitar and every note sung, Jenny and Páraic transport their listeners to a realm where emotions take centre stage.
