Paul Kane

Paul Kane has been a musician for the past 27 years specialising on Lead guitar, lead vocals, backing vocals as well other instruments. He has toured the UK playing festivals and played extensively across Ireland. He recently showcased at NXNE music festival in Toronto in June 2012. In November 2013 along with Co-Writer Bernard Jackson produced a 1940's Musical 'Let's Rip it Up' in the Ulster Hall Directed by Finn Kennedy and produced by Kabosh Theatre Company. June 2014 sees the Launch of Velvet Revolution, Produced by Kane and Barrett Lahey with support form the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

He has a wide experience of production, recording skills and stage management and has been both Manager and Promoter of bands. He is a singer songwriter with three solo albums produced and completed two additional albums with his band for charity. He is a member of the International Songwriters Guild and signed up to PRS.

He recently established Over The Hill Music Collective aimed at mature musicians and has run outreach programmes with Oh Yeah focusing on older people. Gigs have included Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, East Belfast Arts Festival, Belfast Culture Night and the 225 Anniversary of the LinenHall Library.

Paul was a fundraiser for 14 years working for several international NGO’s and voluntary organisations. He was Regional Chair of the Institute of Fundraising NI as well as Trustee of their London HQ. He has also traveled extensively across Central America, Africa and Asia reporting on international issues of social justice to various audiences. He also has extensive experience as a facilitator working with a range of age groups and has produced bespoke workshops a variety of groups.
