Formed in 2021 as a lockdown project and active since March 2022,
sharing members with bands such as The Donnys and Bad Mothers Union
Gigging at punk festivals, pubs and squats across Northern Europe, the band have adopted a DIY ethos which has already brought them to Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
Peer Pleasure were busy in 2023 and 2024 completing 84 shows with notable performances at Whelans Summer Watch, Whelans Ones To Watch and Electric Picnic’ two years in a row at Spike Island stage where they drew an unprecedented crowd, who swung from rafters and very nearly caused the stage to cave in and The Salty Dog stage and Ireland Music week 2024, The group have also maintained solidarity with groups like the Revolutionary Housing League, playing DIY gigs in improvised accommodation which provide refuge for many homeless around Dublin city and further afield.
The Band are in the process of completing their debut LP of 12 songs and have evil machinations in store for 2025.
