Phat Kiidz are an Irish hip hop group from Letterkenny Town, Co Donegal. The group consists of members Happymore Mutyoro (Hapz), Samuel Kasenga (J-Kiizy) and Ndoda Madolo (Jawn).All three members are originated from Africa: Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa. However we all met in the small town of Letterkenny at the age of 13 realising we shared the same talents. We all attended different schools but continued to be the best of friends.
Summer 2010 we released our first single “Missing You” which got a good response in our town and got us gigs in local theatres, and local clubs such as “Ink Nightclub, Pulse Music Venue” and the “The Vibe”
Soon after we began to work on more tracks as we got calls for shows and gigs around Donegal.
Meanwhile during the year we performed on “Strictly Come Dancing” in Kilmacreanan, Donegal in front of a crowd of over 800 people, Local dance stars Fox n Crew also peformed at the show.
Summer 2011 we were opening act for Louis Walsh’s group “The Boulevard” at the Poptastic Concert in The Mount Errigal Hotel Letterkenny. They wer followed on by Black Eyed Peas Tribute band.
As a group we have also paid contribution to Charity events in the County. We performed for “Relay for Life” helping raise over £340,000. An event at which Daniel O’Donnell performed at.
