Picture Postcard

Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, the five-piece dreamo newcomers Picture Postcard fuse modern shoegaze textures with 90s emo/post-hardcore nostalgia. Following their debut single “October”, the band looks to build momentum with their melancholic sonic gloom. Fuzzy, reverb-laden guitars, airy synths and a dynamic interplay of breathy/screamed vocals all seamlessly intertwine - drifting away before being dragged right back in.

Formed in the summer of 2024, the act consists of former/current members of Dublin bands such as Fulvetta, Epilogue, SNAFU, & Skyless: AJ Das (Guitar/Vox), Sean O’Reilly (Bass/Vox), Rohan Bhattacharya (Synths), Ignas Baranauskas (Guitar), & Gabriel Motos (Drums).

Slowly crafting their meticulously layered sound over the initial months, the act utilised their past experiences to structure the release of their soaring debut single “October”, which was covered by numerous blogs and featured on notable alternative radio stations such as Milk’s "The Garage Radio Show" and Dan Hegarty's "The Alternative" on RTE 2FM. Picked up by Spotify’s radio algorithm, the single accumulated more than 2000 listeners in the first month, helping the band find their feet in the vastly growing music industry.
