Straight out of Limerick City, ‘RaYche P’ a rapper, singer, songwriter, producer and BIMM University Dublin Graduate is a conscious artist whose vision is to use their music as a catalyst for change. Blurring the lines between political activism and art, it serves as a form of protest and rebellion, inspiring listeners to embrace their own unique identities, challenge social injustice, and foster unity across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
With their genre-defying sound fusing together the traditional and modern. Elements of hip-hop, synth, pop, electronic, experimental, alternative, drill 808’s mixed with traditional Irish instrumentation such as the Uilleann Pipe to create a powerful vibration that addresses themes such as sexuality, mental health, injustice, acceptance, love, Irish culture and heritage.

Having spent an impressive 11 years as a member of the Limerick Gospel Choir from 2005 to 2016, RaYche P honed her vocal skills and developed an even passion for music. This invaluable experience laid the foundation for her future success.
One of the pivotal moments in her career came when she appeared on the 8-part series "Pitch Perfect" on TG4. The pinnacle of this experience was a memorable performance at the legendary Croke Park, where RaYche P had the privilege of entertaining an awe-inspiring crowd of 83,000 people. She also performed with ‘Amach Le Dia’ for RTE Sunday Service celebrating pride month 2021.
In 2011, RaYche P featured as a lead vocalist on the CD "Songs of Shelter" for Focus Ireland. This recording took place at the prestigious Windmill Lane and Westland Studios, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile artist.
Over the years, RaYche P has released two singles. "We Prevailed Today" made waves in 2012, showcasing her songwriting abilities and vocals. This was followed by the release of "Life's For Living" in 2014, in aid of a suicide prevention organisation she volunteered with at the time.
RaYche P has also delved into the world of radio broadcasting. In 2012, she became a radio presenter on Fresh FM, using her charismatic personality and music knowledge to entertain listeners. She later joined Limerick City Community Radio from 2013 to 2015, expanding her reach and connecting with even more music enthusiasts.
She was nominated for several MRU Awards in 2012. Her nominations for Best Pop/Alt, Best Female Artist, Best Newcomer, and Best Single highlighted her versatility and undeniable skill.
In addition to her musical endeavours, RaYche P has made a mark as a judge and guest performer at various talent competitions, including Mr/Ms Gay Limerick, Stars In Your Eyes, and Limerick's Got Talent. Her expertise and passion for nurturing emerging talent have been invaluable in these roles.
When not gracing the stage of established venues such as Dolans Warehouse, Thomond Park, Croke Park, Limetree Theatre, UCH, and L.I.T Millennium Theatre.
RaYche P has also dedicated her talents to numerous charitable causes and events, showcasing her commitment to giving back to the community. From Limerick Pride Festival and Africa Day to Green Ribbon Event, Limerick Mental Health, Share A Dream, Temple Street Children's Hospital, Pieta House, Enable Ireland, Thomond House Homeless shelter and Yes Equality's 'Over The Rainbow' Show, she has used her platform to raise awareness and support those in need.
Furthermore, RaYche P has taken the initiative to organise and host busking events for Enable Ireland, bringing people together through the power of music and contributing to a worthy cause.
RaYche P captivates audiences with their stage presence and energy, unwavering dedication to music, philanthropy and spirituality, connecting with people from all walks of life through the universal language of music. Having completed a BA Commercial Modern Music from the British Irish Modern Music University in Dublin and becoming a recipient of an Arts Council Agility Award, the journey continues for RaYche P with the release of her first EP titled ‘Bigotry & Blood’.
