Reylta

The Irish response to modern folk revolution. Reylta is a songwriter from rural Galway. Reylta shares a deep connection to Irish music, poetry & storytelling. Combining sweet & lamenting sounds contrasted with a complex alternative view.
The band contracts & expands (1-8 players), each iteration bringing a different tone to every live performance emulating trad performers with a melancholic folk-pop vibe.
Reylta released a music video ‘Semi Detached to The Flats’ in Feb 21, received the Eimear Noonan Music Bursary in Dec and is releasing her first album later this year. The first song from this album “October” was released on Samhain 2022 and the next song “Lucifers Love” will be released in both English and Irish on St Patrick’s Day 2023.
