Robbie Stickland is a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Dublin. His music is a heartfelt attempt to make sense of his own experiences with love, growing up and mental distortion. Funnelled through a wobbly guitar driven aesthetic reminiscent of Big Star and Mac DeMarco, Robbie's music will transport you straight to your yearning youth with the sun setting on the hills.
Robbie released his new full length LP "Lastingness" on vinyl and digital in February 2024. The follow-up to 2019s "Warm Jeans In The Morning" features 8 tracks recorded mostly to cassette tape in Robbie's apartment, 'Lastingness' is a collection of tape saturated, sunny songs tracking the last three years of Robbie's homespun writing and recording process - reminiscent of Big Star and early Happy End with a Linda Smith lo-fi charm.
The release was marked by a slammed gig in Bello Bar that comes off the back of a busy few months gigging with the likes of Shamir, Stupid Son, Ronan Group and Passersby as well as an appearance at Limerick's famed Féile na Gréine festival.
