Romeo Keane

Romeo Keane is a 24-year-old Irish pop singer-songwriter that is growing a following on social media and streaming platforms for his energetic music and live performances. Like his inspirations such as the Weeknd, Janet Jackson and Doja Cat, he creates music in the pop genre fused with elements of styles such as dance and r&b. He writes all and produces (or co-produces) all of his music and his energetic live performances often feature dancing.

Releasing singles since 2023; 2025 was Romeo’s most successful year yet. He received over 300k Tik Tok views in 2025, and over 1 million Instagram reels views (romeokeane02 on both platforms). Most of these views were for his live performance videos of his pop singles “Focused On You (Right Now)” and “Closer”.

“Closer” became his most successful single yet - achieving over 2k Spotify streams through Romeo’s social media and playlisting. The song was played on Spin 1038’s Saturday Night by Jen Payne as well as 98FM, and it attracted hundreds of listeners on Spotify through curated playlists based in house music. “Closer” was produced by Romeo and Viscose (producer of Irish artist Pastiche’s “Disco Junkie”).

Additionally, Romeo has performed at multiple venues in Dublin (viewable on his instagram romeokeane02) such as Whelan’s, Street 66, Workman’s, Grand Social and more. Dublin (his home city) is the city he is streamed in most, followed by London and other Irish cities such as Cork and Limerick.

In 2026 he plans to build on his 2025 momentum by performing in Dublin and Cork as well as the UK. His first two 2026 single releases included the trap-infused track “Porcelain” which was released in April 2026, and the disco / contemporary R&B based “Doubt” which is releasing on the 13th of May 2026. The former showcased a stylistic shift from his signature sound, while the latter’s groovy sound resembles his most successful tracks such as “Closer”. He is planning to release an EP this summer. A yet-to-be-announced single off the EP will incorporate elements of traditional Irish music. He will continue posting on social media with the intention to further grow his following and promote his new singles.

Romeo wrote the majority of these songs by himself though some are in collaboration with a co-writer. Some songs such as “Focused On You (Right Now)” include a featured artist, but the majority are solo releases.
