Romeo Keane

Irish singer-songwriter Romeo Keane is making waves in Ireland’s music industry as an artist in the dance and pop genres, and for his energetic performance style and social media presence.

Romeo’s signature style of uptempo pop tracks has been compared to Troye Sivan, Dua Lipa, Justin Timberlake and Calvin Harris. His dance-based live performances have taken place in venues across Dublin such as The SoundHouse, Street 66 and Whelan’s. Throughout 2025 clips of his performances have generated thousands of likes on social media platforms (Instagram and Tik Tok). Additionally, his 2024 music video for “Right Now” (filmed at Dublin’s The SoundHouse) has thousands of YouTube views.

Romeo released a handful of singles throughout 2024 and ’25 - attracting plays by RTÉ, Claire Beck on 98FM and Spin South-West and thousands of Spotify streams. His latest single - the house track “Closer” - attracted hundreds of listeners on Spotify through curated playlists based in house music and was played by Jen Payne on SPIN 1038's Saturday night. “Closer” was produced by Romeo and Viscose (producer of Irish artist Pastiche’s “Disco Junkie”).

Romeo has over 1k Instagram followers and regularly posts on the app as well as Tik Tok which has helped him gain new listeners on streaming services. His social media output was noticed by his idol, Janet Jackson, who reposted a clip of him performing a vocal and piano cover of her track “Someone To Call My Lover” to her Tik Tok and Instagram stories in March 2025.

Romeo is aiming to continue building his presence as contemporary Irish artist in both the dance and pop genres.
