Ronan Boland has been playing and putting on gigs in Dublin for as long as he was legally allowed, from his first musical venture Angular Hank with other Dublin artists Passersby & Zizou to his mixed media exhibition series 'Follain' which involved up to 20 artists of different disciplines sharing their work for a day in various independent spaces around Dublin city.
After becoming the owner of Irelands largest second hand vinyl record shop during Covid, he has not been able to share work in person as prolifically as before - but this hasn't stopped him pursuing his craft as made evident by two singles 'The Country' and 'Elf' released this year, which seamlessly marry the structural and melodic complexity of a singer songwriter with the janky tones of a 90's alt-rock band. As dynamic as the two are, they are only a hint of what Ronan looks forward to sharing on his debut album 'I Don't Want To Go Anywhere' due to be released in December 23rd, 2023.
