Roo Elizabeth is an Irish alt/ indie artist blending alt-rock grit with intimate storytelling. Her music is rooted in anxiety, love, modern Irish identity, and the search for belonging, challenging the boundaries of societal expectations. Her debut EP arrives in 2026.
Raised in post-Catholic Ireland, Roo draws inspiration from Irish lore and the feminine experience in a modern Ireland. Her recent single “Crazy”, inspired by the raw energy of the post-punk revival and the rebellious spirit of the ’80s and ’90s, debuted on national radio with releases featured on Nialler9, GoldenPlec, and Genuine Irish.
Described by audiences as ethereal and post-punk in spirit, Roo Elizabeth’s live shows balance raw guitar-driven energy with immersive vulnerability. Moving between cathartic highs and intimate, crowd-connected moments, her performances create a space where audiences feel free to fully let go. She has performed at Electric Picnic and Forest Fest, as well as well-known Irish venues and events including Ruby Sessions, Whelan’s, The Roisin Dubh, and Workman’s, and internationally at The Water Rats in London. Her shows connect with fans of Wolf Alice, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobie, Yungblud and Ethel Cain.
