Roo Elizabeth is an Irish artist, songwriter and budding producer. Her music is an exploration of melodic hooks and emotive expression. Utilizing a variety of genre influences in her music she ties them together with a distinct voice and ethereal sound. There is no genre uninteresting to her and this shows in her repertoire of songs; pulling influence from artists like FKA Twigs, Lana Del Rey, PJ Harvey & Bon Iver all the way to Sharon Van Etten, Kate Bush & Aurora.
Coming from a family of performers, Roo Elizabeth grew up watching her mother perform as a vocalist of a number of successful cover bands and spent hours of her childhood singing with cousins and watching rehearsals. In 2019 she graduated from BIMM Dublin with a Diploma in Professional Musicianship specializing in Vocals, opening during this time for Wyvern Lingo in Lost Lane as her debut performance. During the pandemic, her home recording exploration took hold and she began creating a vast catalog of music. As the pandemic tapered off, she opened for Mary Coughlan at Opium Live. This was followed by a move to Berlin, where she began busking, working with producer Luk Star, creating a network within the industry, subsequently releasing her debut single 'My Everything Great'; a modern indie pop love anthem embraced by retro soft rock inspirations. Now based in Ireland again, she has released her second commercial single 'Ready To Die'; an alt-pop explosion personifying personal break though's and the important of finding your identity, and continues to perform and write.
Roo Elizabeth has performed in some of Ireland's most loved venues such as Whelans, The Róisín Dubh, Ruby Sessions, and The Workman's Club. 2022 and 2023 saw her perform at Electric Picnic and Forest Fest, as well as iconic London venue, The Water Rats.
