A high energy, entertaining outfit with huge indie rock sound, Rooftop Anthem are a five-piece outfit based in Dublin. With an eclectic mix of sing-along indie anthems that strike an almost instant connection with the listener and performances that capture the audiences attention from start to finish, Rooftop Anthem stand out as a unique act with a unique sound.
In Feb 2013 they released their debut EP "Taxicab" produced by Billy Farrell Coors, Westlife and additional mixing by Grammy nominated LA based producer Mark Needham, who has worked with top acts The Killers and Fleetwood Mac to name a few and dance remix's from The Control Freaks and Regular Al!
The EP went No.1 on iTunes and Taxicab received national Airplay in Ireland.
After a busy summer which seen the band performing on the main stage at one of the largest European festivals in Luxembourg to an international audience of 30,000, a stand out show at this years Rose of Tralee festival supporting The Coronas and with well-recieved performances in The Button Factory on Arthur Guinness Day, along with their own sold out headliner at the Academy 2 Dublin, they will headline Whelans in Dec 2013.
They recently landed a sync with fashion giant 'Garage' for there 2013 model search on Canadian TV.
