Having started making music solely on my computer, I always found that I had a thing for a great bassline, but I didn't like using my computer and as a result I found it creatively limiting. I decided to take a big step away from computers and those endless and tedious arguements about which software is better, and take a step towards the analog. As a result, the majority of my latest music is made using my 2 Korg Electribes (EMX1 and ESX1), MicroKorg synth and a x0xb0x (Roland tb303 clone), and can be played live. I use the computer for recording, a little post production if I feel it's necessary, and maybe some multitrack assembly. The end result can vary and goes between drum and bass and house with a bit of trance thrown in for good measure.
