RUSALKA is a Canadian singer songwriter based in Dublin and Toronto. She has performed at various venues including The Painted Lady, Dakota Tavern, and Handlebar in Toronto, Brutopia and Bar de Courcelles in Montreal, and Darkey Kelley's and The Bison Bar in Dublin. After releasing her debut single: female power anthem "Claws," RUSALKA soon followed it with the release of "In the Light of Day," a raw, gritty tale of helping loved ones through addiction.
Named for the mysterious mythological rusalki, RUSALKA uses her voice to express her deepest emotions, writing songs about topics such as relationships, trauma, and addiction. Her influences include pop, alternative, and indie artists such as Meg Myers, Florence + The Machine, Evanescence, and Fiona Apple. Her soulful alto vocals combined with her poignant lyrics create haunting tracks that cut to the core.
New single: "Vertigo" is set to be released in May 2025 (until then, available only on Breaking Tunes).
