Formed in Leixlip Co. Kildare 1989, Rye River Band play a blend of Americana and Roots standards and original material written by the band's lead singer.
Performed at Festivals throughout Ireland, Kilkenny Roots, Clifden Arts Week, Dublin Docklands, Dunmore East Bluegrass, Leixlip Salmon, Tullamore Phoenix and toured England and Scotland.
Long established residency in the Brazen Head Pub, Dublin on Saturday nights.
Performed with the Rolling Stones.

The band released their third recording a live album "Live @ the Brazen Head Dublin" in January 2015.
In February 2016, the band recorded and released a new original song called "That Girl of Mine". All the proceeds from this single are going to Dublin Simon Community.
In July 2017 the band released a new original studio single called "Hey Anna".
In March 2023 the band released a live single recorded in the Brazen Head. A dedication and cover of Tom Petty’s “Learning to Fly”.
