Sailhymn

Sailhymn is a Galway-based artist, singer-songwriter and street musician. They have been active on the music scene in Ireland and Europe since 2011 and have released five crowdfunded albums under the name Katie O’Connor. With simple guitar progressions and a deep attunement to their voice, they weave lyrics and harmonies together which illuminate the extra-ordinary within the ordinary of all things. Since 2021, Sailhymn has been activated personally and musically in more social justices spaces through their growing awareness of colonisation, apartheid and genocide in Palestine. Knowing the potent ability to respond is within each drop of the ocean of Us, a hum and a hymn is one way to begin in designing a more beautiful dream. Together we set sail.
