Pop // Dublin

Sarah Christina Harper is a singer, songwriter and producer from Dublin. Making her blend of indie and synthpop with its eclectic mix of influences, she writes songs that tell a story, that tap into particular moments of the human experience that many can relate to. Known for writing catchy hooks, Sarah Christina Harper creates music that you can dance and sing along to, even when your heart is breaking. The sad pop paradox.

She began her journey in the classical music world, taking part in various singing competitions and shows but her love for for other genres pushed her to start posting acoustic covers on YouTube. Sarah also regularly performed on Grafton Street, receiving great feedback from passers-by. She then began to post original demos and covers that she made on GarageBand on her iPad. Her covers of David Bowie hits and her cover of 'Smile, that coincided with he release of the movie 'Joker' proved to be particularly popular. Following some time studying music production at Windmill Lane Recording Studios, she has explored the full capabilities of her sound world and has been able to create music exactly as she hears it in her mind. Her sound has been compared to the likes of Marina and Lana Del Rey.
