For 8 years Irish rockers THE STRYPES toured the world releasing 4 Top 10 albums in the UK, Ireland & Japan and tread the boards from iconic stages including Glastonbury and Fuji Rock to the David Letterman and Jools Holland shows as well as tours with iconic acts Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Stones Roses, Paul Weller & Liam Gallagher. Now founder member of drummer Evan Walsh has brought the band’s legacy forward with the garage/psych rock sounds of THE SAVAGE HEARTS, mixing old with new energy and featuring the talents of experienced Irish musicians Darragh Muldoon and Stef Byrne. In a short time The Savage Hearts have scored 5 No. 1 singles on the Irish Downloads Chart and toured extensively opening for legends including The Boomtown Rats, The Undertones and Dr. Feelgood. The band have gigged extensively in the UK with celebrated shows at some of indie rock’s most iconic venues such as the Hope & Anchor, Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues, Dublin Castle and Hawley Arms in London and the Cavern Club in Liverpool.
