"ScareDaCat” is a project created in 2020 by Irish artist/producer James O’Connor, consisting of the songwriter/producer James O’Connor along with live session band consisting of Éanna Malone (guitar/synth), Ambrose Bourke (bass) & Michael Newell (drums).

With releases such as “Ain’t Keen”, “Last Night” & “What’s the Use?” along with accompanied music videos (directed by Sam Fallover & Will Kennedy) under their belt, as well as features & interviews from blogs such as Nialler9, GoldenPlec, BUZZ Music & airplay from RTÉ2XM & TotallyIrish with John Barker

The Co. Wicklow act blends a unique array of genres, seamlessly mixing sounds from smooth, Jazz inspired Hip-Hop with a danceable charm to cheeky, hardhitting Indie riffs with a catchy formula [sounds akin to Mac Miller, Sad Night Dynamite, Foals, Rage Against the Machine, Dijon].
