Shake!

Rock // Belfast, Antrim

Playing a sell-out show at London’s Camden Barfly in March was the early highlight of 2013 for Shake!
Last March saw the band play their biggest show to date when they performed at Belfast’s official St Patrick’s Day concert in the City’s Custom House Square to a 7000 strong crowd. It was a big month for the band who were also asked to write and record the official song for the Belfast City Marathon.
They finished the month with the release of the ‘My Time’ ep and saw the video for the title track receive over 6000 youtube hits in the first four weeks after appearing online.
Annika Graham formed Shake! at the end of 2009. Their first single, 'Falling To Pieces' in 2010 was one of three songs to achieve semi-final status in the ‘Brit’ UK Songwriting Awards of that year.
By December 2011 they were playing to 2000 people at Belfast Waterfront Hall when they supported Flash Harry and in November the same year, on a night when there was an unprecedented number of gigs in Belfast for ‘MTV’ weekend, the band sold out the prestigious Empire Music Hall on their own merit.
The current ep ‘Let Me Let You’ was released last winter with shows in Belfast and Dublin. The band return to Dublin on 28th March this year before taking a break from live work to concentrate on writing and recording new material.
