Sick Love, led by frontwoman Rebecca Geary alongside Conor McLoughlin, Sean O’Connor and
Cormac O’Neill, are a band of 4 best friends who have been through the ups and downs of music
and life together. They draw inspiration from Paramore, Blondie, No Doubt, Hole, Garbage, as well as pop influences like MARINA and Chappell Roan.
With support from BBC Radio1, RTE 2FM 2024 Rising, editorial support from Apple, Spotify, Amazon and Deezer, Sick Love released their debut album 'Champagne' in May 2024 via Paragon Records, a record which has been 10 years in the making. Since release they’ve sold out headline shows on their album tour, played Forbidden Fruit Festival, made multiple appearances on Virgin Media TV with Fanning at Whelans, and gained over 500k streams on the album.
They first made their name playing support slots for Dashboard Confessional, Crazy Town and We Are Scientists, playing Dr Marten’s Boot Room in London, Other Voices, The Great Estate Festival, Camden Rocks, Electric Picnic and Indiependence among others.
Their single “Gun In Your Pocket” featured on hit TV show “The Young Offenders”, which saw the band receive significant international radio support and secured several major Spotify editorial playlists. Currently the band have accumulated over 4 million streams.
