Smokey

Smokey is a Swiss army knife in the Irish music scene—a rapper, DJ, producer, and event curator. Hailing from Ballybrack, Dublin, he was previously part of the hip hop collective The Rog Poets. After stepping away from music to organise events with the likes of Lord Apex, manage rising talent Curtisy, and a partnership with Hen’s Teeth, he’s now back—bigger, bolder, and wiser. Smokey is gearing up to release a collection of singles throughout 2025, each one tackling the themes of self-reflection, grief, community, and—above all—hope. With his signature tongue-in-cheek lyricism and larger-than-life presence, he explores these themes backed by beats from some of the scene’s finest producers.
