Stephen has had a fruitful beginning to 2025, after deciding last year to focus on his original music he has released not only his debut E.P. (More Than Me) but also the first single from his next body of work.
His first gig of 2025 was a sold out headline show at the reputable "The Pheasantry" (Pizza Express Live).
Other accolades from the last 12 months include an Irish tour as a session Guitarist with Kieran O Connell playing venues such as the 3Olympia and The Doolin Folk Festival. His sights are now locked on releasing his second E.P. in 2025.
Stephen's influences are best described as a collection of songs rather than any particular Artist. He swings wildly from Jazz to Americana to Folk to Spoken Word using whichever vehicle best supports the message he's trying to deliver. All drawn together by his unique ponderings of the world and what makes it tick.
If you had to put a pin in it however. Imagine Ray LaMontagne and Damien Rice had a baby they co-parented with Blake Mills.
"His music is a powerful reflection of the human experience. His songs explore the depths of emotion, the complexities of relationships, and the universal longing for connection."

Stephen's musical career has also been varied, After receiving a distinction from Colaiste Stiofan Naofa's renowned Music, Management and Sound course Stephen worked briefly as a Sound Engineer, teching for Irish Songwriting giants such as Lisa Hannigan and Niall Connolly. He toured as a session Guitarist for Folk Artist "Karrie" (a position now held by the imitable Jimmy Smyth) supporting Artists such as Mick Flannery and Mary Coughlan. He then moved to London to follow a scholarship he received to attend the London College of Contemporary Music where he recorded and toured with Soul Artists Emma Noble, Nick Corbin, Abi Farrell and produced one of Nick Corbin's live albums. He's been a guitar tech for The Stargazers, Won the UCC battle of the bands twice, been a sound-tech for several FMC events in Cork and often wishes he was a Carpenter..
