Steve Bailey

Born into a very musical family Steve enjoyed performing in many amateur operatic productions from a young age.
After getting married he moved to Ireland where he set up camp in Kilkenny, enjoying the occasional jam with a few local musicians and bands as well as playing solo. He plays a bit of acoustic guitar but his main instrument is the piano and keyboards.
He is influenced by all styles of music but is a big fan of Prince and not just because of his talent musically. Steve found his philosophy of writing music however you feel it in any given moment very inspiring and liberating.
He also produces his own music with the help of a sound engineer and a couple of fellow musicians.
Although not usually a writer of country music, Steve did have a bit of local success with a song he wrote for a local country singer. The song was called Broken Hearts & Lonely Women and reached number one for 5/6 weeks in the South East Country Charts.
