Syano

Hailing from Cork, Ireland, Syano is a genre-blending collective that fuses hip-hop, jazz, and soul into a rich and immersive sound. The band consists of Philip Corkery on vocals and guitar, Chris LaMotte on bass, Tom O’Donovan on keys and Liam Berry on drums, drawing inspiration from artists like D’Angelo, J Dilla, Mac Miller and Loyle Carner. Syano crafts a sonic experience that is both deeply rooted in tradition and refreshingly contemporary.

Known for their dynamic live performances, Syano has graced some of Cork’s most renowned stages, including The Kino, Cyprus Avenue, and The Everyman Theatre, captivating audiences with their seamless mix of intricate rhythms, instrumentation, and heartfelt lyricism.
