The Barbiturates

The Barbiturates are a D.I.Y Rock Band from and formed in Derry, Northern Ireland. The Barbs have many influences including The Stooges, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Velvet Underground, and The Fall. The Barbiturates were named and created by Geoff Street who was joined by friend and rhythm guitarist Patrick Walker and the band started taking shape. The Barbs have played all over the North of Ireland as well as the Republic of Ireland and have gained a reputation as a live band with sets of up to 3hrs.
