The Docs are a rock/pop four-piece from Derry, N. Ireland. The band consists of Cathan Parkhill (Lead Vocals), Oisin O'Connell (Vocals/Bass/Keys), Oran Hegarty (Guitar) and Caolan Williamson (Drums).
Having grafted the streets of Derry and Donegal since forming in 2014, the four youngsters have gathered a loyal fanbase - culminating in their first sold-out headline show in the famous Glassworks venue in Derry in December 2016. Having initially bared resemblence to The Strypes, as the band has grown up, they have now developed their energetic collection of tracks.
Taking inspiration from their favourite bands such as Catfish & The Bottlemen, The Strokes and Palma Violets, they took their own individual tastes and styles, merged them together into a sound now as energetic as The Academic, and with lyrics resonating the likes of Biffy Clyro.
For a group in their late teens, their willingness to play as much as they can has seen them feature regularly in venues such as Masons and Sandinos in Derry; play support slots to the likes of Hudson Taylor, Daniel Kemish and The Strypes; as well as featuring at festivals such as Swell Festival, Stendhal Festival of Art, Music City Derry and OTB.
With 2017 being a big year for the band with the planned release of their debut EP coming this summer, the hard-working four-piece are paving their road whilst becoming one of the brightest bands in the North-West.
