The Electric Age

Rock // Dublin

The Electric Age are a Dublin four piece that perform self-penned modern rock.

"A perfect antidote to the current indie candyfloss", according to HotPress.

To date the band have, amongst many others, stomped the stages of Vicar Street, The Button Factory and The Sugar Club.

Their debut recording, the three track "The Penthouse Massacre EP" received airplay on Phantom FM and favorable reviews, most notably from Jackie Hayden who drew comparisons with early Velvet Underground & The Ramones, saying "we need more of this sort of thing".

Since the release of their E.P. in March 2008, The Electrc Age have grown bolder and more confident as time has passed, honing their particular slant on rock, culminating in their current crop of self produced songs.

Currently blasting out these new songs mixed with old favourites to rapturous response.
