The Half Pennies

Based in Dublin, Ireland, The Half Pennies are an emerging pop-rock collective featuring the talents of Paul Blake (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Sarah Jane Ellis (Lead Vocals/Piano), Phil Ronayne (Backing Vocals/Bass) and Emer Coffey (Violin/Mandolin/Drums). Formed in March 2009, The Half Pennies have quickly gained local recognition, bringing a fresh, eclectic sound to the Dublin music scene. Taking inspiration from artists like Elvis Costello, The Frames, Fiona Apple and Emily Haines, The Half Pennies have melded alternative and acoustic influences to create a body of work that can only be described as entirely their own. This Summer will see the release of the bands long awaited first Ep 'Matter of Time'
